How to Order Textbooks


ORDERING BOOKS ONLINE:

  • If a used book is ordered and we are out of stock, a new book will be substituted. We will not provide the new book at the used book price.
  • We do not guarantee the availability of used textbooks.
  • Mail orders require 48 hours to process and ship.
    ( EXCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS )
  • Your credit card will be billed at the time the order is shipped.


    Step One:
    Login by selecting "login" located at the top right corner of the page.


    Step Two:
    Select a Campus Term (i.e. Albany-Fall 2007 / Benton Ctr-Spring 2008)
    or
    Enter a Title or Author.
    NOTE: SEARCH BY USING THE AUTHORS LAST NAME ONLY. (i.e. Elizabeth Castro. Search for books from this author using CASTRO only.)
    You may search for books using just a few words of the title.
    Then click the GO button.


    Step Three:
    If you selected a Campus Term:
    Select the appropriate Department, choose your Course, the choose your Section/Instructor.


    Step Four:
    If you selected a Campus Term:
    The next page will list all of the textbooks required for that class. You'll need to enter a quantity and what type of books you would like, new or used. (if a used book is available) One you are satisfied with your choices, click the "Add selected books to cart" button. You may then continue shopping for other books, or you may checkout at this point.

    If you selected a Title or Author:
    Choose a the book that best matches your search. Your Course name and number are included to help you select the correct book.
    Select a new or used (if available) book buy clicking the "+ to cart" button. ...tip if you click the section number under the book description, you will get a list of all books required for that course! You may then follow the directions labeled: If you selected a Campus Term.


    Step FiveMy Cart-  Be sure to check the status of your cart that your order and quantity is correct!
    If you selected a Campus Term:
    Review your cart, make changes if needed then press the "Update Total' button. If no changes are required you may Save Cart For Later, Continue Shopping, Checkout,  or Add a Coupon Code if you have one.

    If you selected a Title or Author:
    Review your cart, make changes if needed then press the "Update Total' button. If no changes are required you may Save Cart For Later, Continue Shopping, Checkout,  or Add a Coupon Code if you have one.


    Step Six:
    If you are not logged in, you will do so at this step, enter your login information.

    If you do not have a login name, you will need to create an account by clicking the "Create an Account" link.

    Creating your account*:
    Now you will need to enter your name, address, phone number, email address, etc.
    When you have finished entering the required information, click on the GO button.
    *Information is required.


    Step Seven:
    You will need to enter your shipping preferences now.
    Click Continue to get into the shipping screen.
    When you have finished entering your shipping choices, click Continue.


    Step Eight:
    Now you need to enter your credit card information.
    Click Continue once more. Do not press this button more than once or press the back button during this transaction. Your card may be charged twice. Your card will not be charged until your order ships.


    Step Nine: Confirmation
    If you have done everything correctly, you should see


    An order confirmation has been sent to youremail@mail.com. Please print this page for your records. If you have any questions regarding your order, email

    NOTE:
    If you did not see the confirmation page,
    we did NOT receive your order and you will need to correct it.
